Can someone fill me in on the differences between the various types of bows, i.e. speed, accuracy etc., or at least point me to in the right direction. Thanks.

What does accuracy do for you? Is that just against moving targets? Or is it describing the air speed of the arrow?

I rarely see misses, and I use a flatbow for the max range/max speed.. which has the worst arrow speed/accuracy.

Generally I beileve it has to do with moving targets. My long bow rarely misses either. so I was unsure what it ment by those accuarcy statements myself from teh book. but I have noticed that teh flat and compond ones are not as quick to hit on running targets, where my longbow hits most of the time reguardless, so Thats what it must mean...

What about a half-moon. Is it the same as short bow. I thought there were a couple others too, composite bow...?

Accuracy is the speed/arc height of the arrow. It's very easy to dodge arrows fired from a long-ranged bow, unless favorable winds or read the wind is in effect. You just watch for the shooter to fire, then step off to the side.

Ah, nice chart. Where does moon, half-moon bows, shadow bows, etc. fit in? Is there a way to tell which underlying type of bow from the chart each bow is?

I've heard several times that this info is out of date (from the above link). Does it compare with the guide? Can someone that has it check?

Thanks
